Navy vs. Notre Dame ~ September 1, 2012.

On November 2, 1996, the Midshipman of Navy took to the battlefield at
Croke Park against Notre Dame's Fightin Irish. It was a chilly day with
slight over cast and the Leprechauns of Ireland held back the rain.
Both teams came prepared to do battle. Unfortunately, the luck of the
Irish was on the side of the Fightin Irish, who won this confrontation 54 to 27.
Sixteen years later our favorite teams will meet again in Dublin and the
battle originally known as the Shamrock Classic will take place again on
the Emerald Isle! This year the outcome will be different.

For the match in 2012, we will be offering several packages for the
Aviva Stadium, Lansdowne Road Stadium United States Naval Academy Alumnae & the Alumnae of Notre Dame.
